How to setup Gamepad for Wii game

Hi all, I’m trying to get my 8bitdo controller to work with the Lakka Retroarch Wii Dolphin emulator. I have Dragon ball z loaded up and I can go to the Wii menu with the controller and move the cursor around but I can’t press any keys to get into the game. I’ve tried all the different controller options but none seem to be working.

Any help is appreciated, maybe I’m missing something :stuck_out_tongue:

As long as your gamepad is recognized and mapped properly, it should just be a matter of going to quick menu > controls > port 1 controls, picking the device type that’s appropriate for the game (back out of this menu once and then come back to refresh it), then move the core’s functions around on the retropad buttons in the refreshed menu.
