I can't boot into Lakka

I want to install Lakka on a fairly old PC. It has an Intel Pentium D running at 2.8Ghz 64-bit CPU, 5GB of RAM (odd number, I know), and an NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS. These specs, as far as I’m aware should be enough to run Lakka. The same thing happens on either the USB or the HDD itself, Lakka gets to its logo, the flower, and after a few seconds it goes away and the monitor loses signal, then instantly comes back up and it keeps flashing the screen like that. I have no idea what to do, any clues? Thanks

EDIT: I did a few tests, got a Linux Mint live USB, 64 bit version, and installed RetroArch on it. It works flawlessly, no issues at all, so I’m positive Lakka can run on that PC, but why it’s not working is beyond me right now.
