I can't play neogeo roms

Hi everybody.

I’m playing with lakka on a pendrive for PC. I’m having troubles with neogeo emulation. I know I have to put a rom called “neogeo.zip” in the roms directory but it doesn’t work.

I’ve tried with 6 or 7 different neogeozip that I’ve found searching in google but it seems that no one works.

Am I doing some wrong? Have I to put it in System directory too? Could someone tell me where I can find the right neogeo.zip? If that’s not possible? Could someone tell me the exact size of this file to try to find it?

By the way, game roms that I’m trying to play works fine with NeoRage 5.0 in Windows.

I’ve tried the neogeo.zip that comes with this software (53 Kb) and it does not work.

I’ve tried with several neogeo.zip that I’ve found that have between 1.3 and 1.5 Mb and doesn’t work too

you are used ancient roms meant to be played on an ancient emulator. Look for an up to date romset for FBA or MAME (depending on the core you use)

Thank you very much. I never thought the trouble could be the games’ rom. I’ll try to find some newer game roms and I’ll tell you if this was the problem.

which ROM version did you use???

I couldn’t tell you what version is. I found a negeo rom collection with the word “v0.2.97.08” in the tittle, but I think this version is for the FBAlpha.
