Installation on an Early Macbook Pro

I’ve been having issues trying to get this to run on my old Macbook Pro.

Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 2 L2 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 2 GB Bus Speed: 800 MHz According to my research this should work. Its currently running El Capitan, I get all the way through the installation on a 2 gig USB drive and once it finishes installing I get an error msg just like this one:

I then try to reboot the laptop and have tried holding option or c to boot from usb drive with no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

The problem is that you should boot with your pendrive and I’m 99% sure that Macs do not boot Lakka, Windows or any Linux Distribution.
