Hello, yes, I use Lakka on my macbook air dayly (in live mode).
The intel macs have some EFI with BIOS emulation.
Lakka will work on them.
nice. I have an old macbook I can easily stick under the TV. I can’t seem to get it to recognize the USB stick for booting so I can load it - but I’ll keep trying.
When you press alt on startup, the USB key does not appear on the screen?
No. It only shows Mac and RecoveryHD. I’ve been burning the USB key from Windows, but maybe I need to try something else. It’s a 2006 Macbook, Intel Core 2 Duo so I think it should be fine.
I’ll keep trying to figure it out.
I thought it was just this old guy, but after I burn the image, not even my 2013 Macbook air can mount the USB drive and see whats on it. I also tried rEFIt which allows me to dual boot - but it also can’t read the USB stick. (This same USB stick can boot on my Lakka PC).
So there must be something dumb that I’m doing. I’ll keep trying.
What i ve done so far is to start from the pen drive. Just boot presing alt. Once you ve got the start up menu i insert the USB. Computer recognice it and it loads fine. Other way it fails. The problem i have is i have the Apple keyboard with no cord but i cant do nothing. Any idea? Got no other keyboard…
