Is it possible to replicate CRT Royale in ReShade 2.0.3 with SweetFX 2.0?

Real sorry guys! I know here is not a ReShade forum but I loved CRT Royale and I hope that maybe I can find someone here that can help me!

I have 0 skills when it comes to configure this shaders things so I would like to ask if someone can please share configurations with me so I can copy and paste on SweetFX and try to replicate as close as possible the CRT Royale feel on 2D PC games!!

IIRC, there’s a SweetFX port of cgwg’s crt-geom, which is probably the closest you’re going to get without porting things to ReShade’s shader format.

crt-royale is an absolute beast of a shader and it’s a maze of #includes, so if ReShade doesn’t support them, it’s not going to be possible to port it at all.

Thanks man! Not a expert but from what I could understand googling it CRT Royale is kind of black magic

Here the link is dead and I found your post but after extracting everything in a clean game folder the game can’t even load! Also it’s made for a old version of SweetFX right? Any chance to get it to work on the new version?

I’m sorry but I would need a copy and paste kind of help since I know nothing about this things. If anyone has good settings to share so I can copy and paste to make 2D PC games closest to CRT Royale I would be very grateful!

have you tried the one linked in this post?

There’s apparently also one called PixelArtCrt that’s based on crt-lottes but I didn’t see anywhere to download it.

Well configuration for this things is everything! I got one from a guy on reddit and it was too blurry and it made my eyes bleed now this one you told me is the best has more color to it and works in the latest version of SweetFX without problems!

Since it’s impossible to get close to CRT Royale I guess I will stick with this configuration for now cause I’m dying to play the game

Thanks a lot for helping me man!

Yeah, I saw some that were very blurry. I’m glad to hear this one’s better

CRT shaders integration in Reshade are imperfect. advancedcrt lacks pixel resolution precision in newer versions. PixelArtCrt has it but there a sort of bug. The result is blurry. but there a little trick. If the vertical resolution is 240 you can enter 239 in the parameters, the results will be much better but not perfect. My hypothesis is that there’s an offset issue in the picture treatment. Good luck to find help. I never found anyone who’s interested to fix that
