Is there a RPi2 build of Lakka with the dispmanx driver?

Hello,

the title says it all. I have Lakka on my Raspberry Pi 2 and I wanted to try the dispmanx video driver as it it said to have less latency than the default video driver ; unfortunately, it is not available in the “Driver” section of the Lakka menu, and I tried to find a build on the Internet compiled with dispmanx support, but couldn’t find any.

Can you guys help please ?

Retropie has it. 3.8.1 has the buggy version where the video_smoothing is locked to on. But I believe if you update and compile the newest version from their setup it will have the new fix. I have not tested this personally, but I have tested the 3.8.1 driver and it does in fact seem more responsive.

I don’t think this driver is added to lakka yet. You can always check the github pulse for the newest changes or make a feature request there as the devs will see it and approve it much faster if they are interested in it.

Thank you for your answer. Maybe I’ll try to compile Lakka myself with dispmanx support.
