Just darkening shader?

I have a dedicated Linux computer running retroarch connected to an HDR TV. Linux is not compatible with HDR, so in order to avoid the darkening resulting from the application of CRT shaders, I manually increase the brightness of my TV to 120% which IMHO produces good visual results.

Problem is that systems that don´t have scanlines (e.g. PSP) appear too bright on screen. So the question, is there any simple shader that is capable of just reducing the image brightness? If there is none, I could write a quick script that decreases screen brightness based on the platform emulated, but ideally I wanted to avoid that solution since I already have a per-system shader script working.

Regards and many thanks in advance.

The image-adjustment shader includes a bunch of image adjustments, including brightness. You can set it as you like and then save a preset to capture your settings.

there are also basic darkening video filters available in settings > video (down at the bottom).
