Lakka 2.1.1 Tinker Board - Fails to Boot

I’m having an issue with getting Lakka to boot into RetroArch. It works perfectly fine on the initial boot after installation, but any attempt afterwards, and it simply does not boot.

Here is what systemctl is telling me about the status:

Active: activating (auto-restart) (Result: signal) since Sat 2018-08-25 16:00:02 EDT; 497ms ago

Its a known issue with the mainline uboot version we use. Will be updated soon for v2.2 release. And to be perfectly clear is not a Lakka issue. Read here about it https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/942476/
