Lakka 2.1 RC5 available for RPi2/3

I see that a new build of Lakka 2.1 RC 5 is actually available for Raspberry Pi 2/3 and x86 machines.
I’m going to test it tonight just after work; any changelog ?

Hmmm… it’s quite unstable on my Raspberry Pi 2. Text flickers on the screen quite often, and when I try to scan a folder for new roms I’m frequently losing the text on the screen:

Do you know/trust this source ? I don’t known if it is an “official” beta source. The only “official” beta source i know is http://le.builds.lakka.tv/

2.1 rc5 is almost out and STILL no changelog for 2.1 rc4!!

It would not be so difficult to ‘crowdsource’ a changelog for Lakka here in the forums.

We might request that the developers be consistent about designating which release is an official one: https://github.com/libretro/Lakka-LibreELEC/releases

Then all we need is a thread just like this one and we can work backward through the github commits between the previous release and the current one: https://github.com/libretro/Lakka-LibreELEC/commits/Lakka-V2.0

Hi my friend i try update lakka 2.1 rc5 my surprise this build work perfect menu not have bug , my hardware is raspberry pi 3 , you found other bugs? try reinstall .

After upgrading to Generic 86_64 rc5, i don’t have sound, wifi and v sync don’t work. Dolphin package has been fixed. Cool.

After removing my retroarch.cfg all good !!! Nice.

Has anyone been successful with adding DispmanX to Lakka? even in RC5?

Are the following cores in this update?

Playstation (Beetle PSX)
Playstation (Beetle PSX) HW
Sega MS/GG/MD/CD (Genesis Plus GX)

I believe Beetle PSX and Genesis Plus GX are included, but if any core is missing you can always download it from the buildbot and place it in the core folder in Lakka.

Hi guys, please don’t try the builds at http://static.kivutar.me Most of the time, they are very experimental builds, and they are not the definitive version. The rc5 you found there is not the rc5 I’m going to publish.

Thanks Kivutar, I’ve been debating whether or not to try the x64 build, but I’ll wait. I have a quick question, since a windows update I can no longer see my HDD through roms/C:/ anymore and my system restore is failing every time, is there anything I can do to see my internal HDD again through Lakka?
