Lakka and openelec on system hardrive possible?

Hello,

at the moment i use the latest 64 bit Version of openelec. On my USB stick i used the 64 bit of lakka.

So everytime i want to play games, i had to boot lakka manual over my keyboard.

Is there an way to make an bootloader that i can select on startup which program i want?

I think its more comfotable…

Thx

marcos

Yes it’s possible, you have to learn about how to do it by yourself. This means learning about partitions, filesystems, and the bootloader syslinux.

Hey Kivutar,

i know how to do partitions and so on. My problem is at the moment, that lakka use the same system like openelec.

When i for example use this tutorial: http://openelec.tv/forum/12-guides-tips-and-tricks/9819-howto-multiboot-openelec--windows-without-ubuntu-install

I have to make first 2 partitons for openelec. But my probleme is, when i use lakka too, i have to make 2 another partitions looks like same for lakka.

Is this right or is there an failure in my mind?

You’re right. You wall have 4 partitions in total, 2 for OE, and 2 for Lakka.

So you will have to play with the labels here to make it work.

Hey Kivutar,

i understand what u write, but one last questions. At the moment i have installed on my box openelec which has 2 partitions called boot and storage…

No when i gparted my harddrive to have 2 more partitions with ext3 for lakka so here is my problem:

  1. When i have it partions, can i normal install lakka then? Which partitions?

  2. Should i extract first the lakka image?

  3. Which labels should i used for lakka?

Thx
