Lakka didnt detect some psp roms

Hello Everyone I have problems running Lakka - PPSSPP core does not detect some of psp roms - for example Final Fantasy Type 0 english translated. I tested it on ppsspp emulator on pc, and put it to mc and run with psp - its running. But on lakka it doesnt apears. Game is about 2.7 gb. And also dreamcast core have just disapeared, can i reinstal it?

The built-in playlist generator in lakka will only accept games by certain checksums (clean dumps) so an English translation patch game is going to take some manual playlist manipulation or using a custom playlist generator. Compressed ISO’s also don’t typically scan (CSO files) as for your dreamcast core, go to the Lakka Menu and hit load core and look for reicast. If it is there, your dreamcast core is still there. Otherwise more details are going to be needed to understand the problem, such as what you were doing before the dreamcast core disappeared.

Thank u Deluna, but how can i generate or modulate playlist?

There are many other threads that cover this (for example there is one dealing with the Atari Lynx thread a few links down from this one that deals with a similar answer), but the basic idea is to go to /playlists/Sony - Playstation Portable.lpl open that in a Text editor such as Notepad++ (Not Windows notepad as it will not do this right). you will see the games that successfully scanned. Use what you see there to get the formatting and add your missing game. Use DETECT for the crc part of your game.

As for thumbnails, if you have them, all you have to do is make sure the name of the game part matches the name of the thumbnail file (not including the thumbnails file extension)

I have just found of that this rom (ff type 0 eng translation) runs from usb but have problems when running from \roms. I ll check other thread but i think it may be helpfull.

I put these lines into Sony - PlayStation Portable.lpl /storage/roms/type0_en.iso Final Fantasy Type 0 DETECT DETECT 00000000|crc And it still not works

assuming Type0_en.iso is your psp game file here is how the formatting should be.

It needs to be in that order, Also note that it is helpful to keep things straight by adding directories to the roms folder to reduce the time it takes to do a scan of the directory. So definitely add a PSP folder and throw the game iso file into it. Though if your folder is already a big mess then stay the course as your playlist files will all have to be redone and that can be quite the chore.
