So I have Lakka installed for the first time, and the menu is unresponsive unless an arrow key is held down for a while at which point it will move only over slowly and I cant get it to ever enter any settings from hitting the enter key. Im just wondering what I can do to fix this and make it work properly? Im on an hp mini netbook and I thought lakka should work on it and really hope it does. Thanks!
It’ll take some patience to get there but go to settings > menu (or settings > user interface > menu, depending on how new your build is) and scroll down to ‘menu shader pipeline’ and change it to OFF. If it’s still slow after that change (plus a quit and restart, just to be sure the setting persisted), you can go to settings > driver > menu driver and change it from ‘xmb’ to ‘rgui’, which is a very “retro” style menu that runs well on older, less-powerful hardware.
I cant get it to open the menu, pressing the enter key does nothing. It seems the only thing working is the arrow keys honestly. Ive tried reinstalling and a live boot and none have made any difference.
Hi,
Is it possible to get graphic card log ? You can edit the configuration file and change menu shader pipeline or menu driver if it is not enough.
Thank you.

Im not really sure how to get one since I cant access anything from the menu. Is there a way to open the configuration files without a terminal since I cant open it?
Is there some button im supposed to be using to select that isnt the enter key? because my enter key does nothing
Depending on which build you’re using, try hitting the ‘x’/‘z’ keys for accept/cancel, respectively.
None of those work for me since this is installed on a separate pc and I can’t open up the area that shows the IP address to connect to it. I tried to access the tty but I had no different boot up when I did that and again was left at a slow menu
Did you append this line :
tty retroarch=0
or
textmode
in the live mode entry in the cmdline?
There is also other way to find IP.

I would type those lines, if I could edit the command line but I can’t get the command line to appear. All I can ever see is the menu
Thank you. This worked, so I finally have an enter button
