Lakka Stalls on Startup After Audio Config

Hello. I installed Lakka on a USB stick, and have been using it on two different computers - on my laptop for on the go play, and on a slightly higher spec’d desktop PC for better performance. Yesterday I hooked it up to my desktop computer again, and I changed the sound output from “Default” to HDMI to play on my TV with sound. It worked great. However, later on I then tried to boot Lakka on my laptop again, and now it gives me the following error on startup:

snd_hda_codec_conexant hdaudioC0D0: vmaster hook already present before cdev!

I then plugged the USB stick back into my desktop computer, Lakka loaded just fine, and then I manually changed the audio setting back to “Default”, plugged the USB back into my HP laptop, and I’m still getting the same error. Lakka isn’t completely frozen though - I can push the power button and it shuts down. I just can’t get to the main PS3 wave style interface or play any games.

Any idea how I can fix this? Thank you.

I figured it out. I write here what was the issue in case this is useful for anyone else. The problem actually didn’t have to do with changing the audio config. I think that vmaster/cdev error is quite common on HP hardware in general. What was actually causing the boot process to stall was that on my desktop computer, I had changed the resolution to a resolution not supported by my HP laptop. In my debugging attempts, I plugged the Lakka USB into a MacBook Pro which was capable of many more resolutions, and it worked. I then switched the resolution to 1920x1080, plugged it back into my HP laptop, and it worked. It would be nice to have Lakka switch to a supported resolution though if the selected resolution isn’t supported by the display.
