Lakka won't play games after installing every core

I just downloaded every core that was available, tried to play a game, was thrown back to menu. After restarting the system, I still got the same behaviour. Even selecting a core manually and loading the content manually won’t work.

Here is a paste: http://pastebin.com/0HZgWBxw

What I found is this: RetroArch [ERROR] :: Failed to load GLSL shader: /home/kivutar/shaders-glsl/crt/shaders/crt-geom.glsl.

I got a lot of those “artefacts” where the directory points to kivutar’s home.

You should not use cores from the buildbot. Cores are already shipped in Lakka.

Delete the content of /storage/cores and it will fix your problem.

Also, I need to fix that shader issue, I don’t know where it comes from.

Then why is it possible to download more?

Because I made a mistake during the release. I applied a patch to prevent it, but the dev team of RA added another way to download the cores, that I were not aware of.

Okay. BTW when will be the next release? During 1.4 beta or on 1.5 release?

It will be based on LibreELEC, so it will take long time to release this time. It should use 1.4.

have asked about adding cores to lakka few days ago. there kivutar says that i can use ra-cores (simply have to copy the correct linux-cores into “Core”-Dir). what is right? can lakka run all available ra-core or only the packed in cores?

want to use mame2014/mame2016 for lakka and have alot of trouble. might it be because the buildbot-cores are not supported on lakka anyway ?

There are incompatibilities with the cores from the buildbot. I don’t know why yet.

How do I start a new post for support?

@SickOfLinux If your problem doesnt exist, create a new one.

I don’t have a link or a button to do so.

I do t like necromancy either, but the forum platform here isn’t like the traditional layout of forums.
