Lakka (x86) can't use N64 emulator with Xbox USB controller

All N64 games that run, throw up an error “No controller”. Is there a 3rd party utility to use the Xbox controller as other controllers with Lakka? Also Lakka doesn’t seem to scan NES ROMs correctly. It only finds around 10 ROMs from my entire 5000+ “No Intro” collection - and most of those are test ROMs!

NES ROM scanning usually means there’s a mismatch between headered/headerless databases. You should be able to use the ‘manual’ scan (if that’s available in Lakka now; I’m not sure about that).

There’s no third party utility, but if the controller works in the menu, try going to quick menu > controls and make sure the device type is set to something appropriate.

Thanks, I gave up in the end, as I tried rescanning manually etc and it just couldn’t find matches for even 1% of the roms, or artwork etc. Also tried multiple rom sets. I switched to using Windows+Launchbox, which found everything and downloaded artwork, videos etc!
