Had a quick question. Was wondering if there is a way to assign which card Lakka would look at by default? I’m currently not home, but when I get there I can give a model number. But I believe it’s hp dv7 or along those lines. 17"screen and switching graphics cards depending on if it’s on the charger or not. I would like to dedicate this laptop to Lakka for emulation but I don’t think the smaller card would be strong enough so I would need it to be assigned to the bigger one. Thanks for any advice before I wipe Windows. I’ll get whatever specs you’ll need whenever I get home and get the laptop in front of me. Thanks again
Hello, sorry but I’m not sure how to choose the card.
Have you tried Lakka in live USB mode?
well nevermind, it appears that I have the world’s only computer that refuses to boot at all from usb. tried it with no luck and after a few google searches, it appears all dv-x series hp laptops have an unknown issue where it refuses to boot at all from any usb drive. Can I burn the same imag to a disc? does it not work that way? thanks again
Thanks for the heads up, I now have Lakka running, however now I come back to the original question. Is there a way to tell which card Lakka is using? Or a way to assign a certain card?
Did you check in your BIOS if you can set the Switchable Graphics Mode to fixed according to the documentation ?
