Latest nightly hangs on i386

I just installed (wipe + fresh install) Lakka-Generic.i386-devel-20151211004201-r21233 on my i386 nettop: it systematically gets stuck either at the very beginning (Lakka logo on empty screen, no boot command executed yet) or right after command

[ OK ] Reached target Retroarch.

I rebooted a dozen times to no avail.

Thanks! Nicolas

I was able to SSH, manually stop retroarch with a systemctl stop retroarch (no effect on screen) then launched retroarch Here is the answer:

I went back one version, to Lakka-Generic.i386-devel-20151207162855-r21226 (still on i386), it works fine except I couldn’t configure a new controler?? I got

Lakka:~ # retroarch-joyconfig -a joypads/a26.cfg
-sh: retroarch-joyconfig: not found

the retroarch-joyconfig application doesn’t exist anymore. You should do your binds through the menu’s binding interface instead.

Thanks hunterk! I was so used to the retroarch-joyconfig that I wouldn’t have thought trying the Lakka menu

My problem is that I own 2 cheap chinese controlers that have the exact same vid:pid one is a Genesis controler replica, the other an Atari 2600 replica. The A26 controler only has 1 button which is the B button, but if I bind it globally then my Genesis controler B button doesn’t work anymore, and vice versa. The solution would be to bind per core, and I tried that, but in A26 core I’m not offered the option to press the controler to bind it to the B button, instead I have a pre-defined list of binds I can cycle through: retropad B button, retropad Y button, and so on…

How can I configure my 2 controlers each for their respective core?

Hi mougino,

I upgraded the kernel and the graphics drivers, it may be the cause of the regression. What graphic card are you using?

My nettop has an NVidia Ion (GeForce 9400M)

Ok, I will double check that the nouveau driver is built properly on i386 and upload a new nightly soon. Thanks for your report!

Ok, there were a typo in my libdrm package. It should fix this bug. I uploaded the new build. Please give it a try

Hello, I’m a noob with Lakka and I find it very interesting but the same thing happens to me. I’ve tried to fresh install and also to go live with the Lakka 20151223 i386 version on my IBM T42 laptop and it freezes with ‘Reached target Retroarch’ :frowning: Is it possible to download old images just to try? Thanks and regards.
