Latest RPi2 Nightlys

Simply love the Scan folders option, cleans up the GUI a lot.

I have noticed a lot of new and awesome features, but was wondering when you planned on adding in the Atari/Arcade games as I use those a lot.

I’ve been waiting for the Arcade/Atari so I can edit the Text files of the games to match how many players they present. TBH I have pot lucks at my house every month and I want to have pot luck that is game based off of the Lakka Console with my 3 Raspberry Pi’s.

Anyhow, without boring the details of the amazing drinking game it will essentially be a VS. or 2v2 or FFA battle in either Score, Longevity of life, or victor of battle and the other person will drink. I have some absurd rules written up but I won’t bore you with those. (Except every time someone yells I hit the wrong button you drink… but I feel that one is mandatory in any drinking game involving video games…)

Anyways, before I rant beyond contention…

Is there a way I can add in the Arcade games to show up in the GUI when you scan them, or are you planning to add this soon? I’ve been drooling at the release of every nightly waiting for this release, and I definitely don’t want to rush genius (because… lets be honest, that’s what you guys are) but I was just curious if you had a time table for all of that?

No ETA, unfortunately, as getting 1.2.* releases out for the remaining platforms is a higher priority right now. There are a lot of things we need to figure out before we can add arcade scanning, though someone in another thread had a manual workaround (only works in GLUI, though, maybe…?).

Any work around I’m willing to work with. You wouldn’t happen to have a thread, maybe I can apply some additional man power to their efforts?

It’s this thread: http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3599

Hi Kushiel, I would love to play such drinking games

I suggest you to manually generate a .lpl

It can be done with a few lines of bash, or simply whiten by hand, or with a calc tool like excel.

Thanks guys, I’m on it thanks to the thread provided!
