LattePanda Lakka installaion on eMMC memory

Hey all, got the LattePanda 4GB RAM/64GB eMMC memory model. Want to install Lakka on the LattePanda and haviing a hard time. Tried both the image gouchi e-mailed to me to test out a while ago (using a USB 3.0 Sandisk 32 GB stick) and the one off the main page, also used Rufus 2.11 and even Win32DiskImager with no luck. Got some heatsinks and a combination heatsink/cooling fan on the unit, so it should stay cool, but no casee for now (the acrylic case that LattePanda sells is hard to put together, and punching it out of the sheet of acrylic breaks parts of it easily, so it’s not the easiest thing to put together, so I’m running the board without one for now while I think of a solution).

Any ideas or solutions on how to get Lakka running on the LattePanda? What download/software do I have to use?

First is it working well for you in live mode ? There are currently two issues opened about Lattepanda board.

Managed to get it to boot, had to type “Run” when the error message "Failed could not open COM32 vesamenu.c32 boot: " message came up. When I tried to load a game after the BIOS transfer, the flower came up.

From what I see in these issues, our support of LattePanda is worse and worse with time? Do we have at least one user that got it working well and play a game?

If there is some hope that Lakka can work on it, we can ask @Twinaphex to use some of the Patreon money to buy you a LattePanda for @gouchi

How much would this LattePanda cost?

$150 US for the 4G/64GB version of the board. No Win10 license, but it ddoes come preinstalled with Win10.

So basically it’s a NUC without a box but with an arduino included? A lot of people have it? Has anybody checked performance of games on it with Lakka?

EDIT: looks like they are preparing a cheaper version for 2017.

Maybe somebody could drop them a mail to request a free sample?
