Live Border redux

I’ve been playing around with the live borders. They were sort of limited before in that the internal scaling they do messed up scanline effects, despite the end result being integer-scaled (which is the main reason people use integer scaling…), so I combined them with some of the overlay effects to get perfect scanlines mixed in (click to full size to get the full effect): You can lighten (or totally) remove the scanline effects using parameters, and I put in an overscan compensation setting, so it should let you get perfect scanlines (on 224 vertical res) whether you use the ‘crop overscan’ setting ON or OFF. http://www.mediafire.com/download/pio93vog0rw265d/live-borders-new.zip

I haven’t pushed these up to the common shaders repo yet because I wanted to see if this is something people are actually interested in or if I should leave them as-is.

If a shader like, easymode, crt-geom or crt-caligar ( even scanlines with integer scaling disabled) was used could we get get full screen display??

no shader can produce perfect even scanlinesm, even easymode has patterns on light backgrounds on resolutions lower than 1440p. that said, nice work hinterk

I play at 1440p on my monitor and use super sampling when on my 1080p TV
