Live USB stick on berry

Hello,

I’m having trouble getting Lakka to start. I get to the berry and it does nothing. I thought it froze but I turned off quiet boot and got this:

Seems everything is running but retro arch is not showing up.

Latest nightly- Intel 4590 , gtx 970, tried to connect display with displayport2vga adapter as well as straight hdmi.

I will appreciate any help.

If I understand correctly you have Nvidia gtx 970 ? This card needs redistributable signed firmware and the support of this card has been merged in Linux 4.6 and Mesa 11.2

We have to wait the release of kernel 4.6.

Source : News Mar, 2016.

Thanks. I was following Lakka website that says nvidia works. Can I install the driver manually or does it need to be merged?

hi vookvook can you post the output of this:

for p in /sys/class/drm//status; do con=${p%/status}; echo -n "${con#/card?-}: "; cat $p; done

Can’t I just add the driver manually?

Can I just add the driver for GTX 970 manually in some way?

Anything I can do?

I am not sure you can use it without kernel 4.6.

Otherwise, we need to enable software rasterizer but it won’t be optimized.
