Living in the 70s

I am using Lakka on a Raspberry Pi B and an there is no reason for me to connect the RPi with the Internet. So the clock of the menu always shows the wrong time and date because the RPi has no real-time clock. I think it would be a good idea to switch the clock function off by default. And wouldn’t it be more usefull to show things like ram, cpu or temperature?

I’m totally agree. +1

Sorry to bump up such an old thread, but the ever-present, un-correctable “1970” clock also drives me nuts.

Hello,

Settings -> menu settings -> Show time/date -> OFF

Well look at that! Thanks.
