Low Fps PCSX Rearmed on Pi 3

I am getting extremely low fps from pcsx rearmed on the pi 3, it averages at 24 fps and thus runs extremely slowly. It does this on a variety of tested games.

I believe this has to do with the dynamic_recomplier option, it is not available in the latest available version of the core downloaded via Lakka, manually entering the dynamic_recomplier setting into the config also achieves nothing, I can only assume it was accidently turned off.

But that’s only my guess

Running the latest stable version of Lakka on rpi3

And thank you to the Retroarch team for all of the hard work! Can’t imagine a world without Retroarch anymore.

Yeah, I’m having a tough time getting PSX running smoothly with this exact setup. Some people on youtube, with the same setup, can run it just fine and I don’t get it. That’s why I ended up purchasing a Pi3 and getting into all this stuff.

But also since I’m completely brand new to all of this and I probably missed a step somewhere… HA

I think it’s a bug, pcsx rearmed is suppose to have a feature called dynamic recomplier which gives better performance at the cost of accuracy, the version of the core I downloaded from the lakka downloader seems to lack this setting. Without dynamic recomplier you can not expect to get any decent performance on the pi.

Don’t use the cores from the downloader. Please delete everything you have in /storage/cores/

Welp, that did it. Everything works just fine… Thank you!
