Mac won't read USB on startup

Hello. I’m pretty new here and today is my first day attempting to use Lakka on my MacBook Pro.

I’ve followed every step and it seems that the .img is mounted ok on the USB. The problem comes when I restart the computer, I insert the USB but it doesn’t appear on the list of Boot drives. I only get the HardDrive.

I inserted another bootable usb that I had from ElCapitan and it works well. It shows both drives: HardDrive and USB but not with the LAKKA USB.

Do you have any idea about how to solve it?

Have you tried to keep Alt pressed during the boot? It works on my macbook air 2013.

I already did. It only shows the HardDrive not the USB
