Mame set scanned and recognized as FBA?

I’m really new to Lakka so I hope my question won’t be too silly.

I have a full Mame 2003 reference set, non-merged. When I scan the folder containing the roms, the scanner ends up adding a FBA icon in the games list which actually contains only FBA games, which is totally non-sense. (I do not want to use FBA and I didn’t make any settings change or any operation to configure FBA on my system at any time). I suppose that’s probably a kind of database/core mismatch but I don’t have any clue about how to fix this.

You can try going to settings > playlist and just change the association from FBA to MAME2003. It will still be labeled FBA in the menu, but if you want to change that, just modify the filename via ssh

Well… Thank you. I finally found the actual problem: I didn’t notice the “show advanced settings” option so I was missing a bunch of menu items… So when you talked about the “playlist” menu I understood I was doing something wrong.

Solved now. Thanks a lot.

I think this scanning error is simply due to the fact that some arcade roms are identical in FBA and MAME0.78 sets.
