Nope, definitely didn’t… MegaBezel in the shader-slang repo hasn’t been updated in two years so not sure why updating would change anything… I do not use the Online Updater in my install past the initial extraction of RA from zip. This is the behavior of 3D-1 curvature now, all I did for this screenshot was change 2D to 3D-1. If any number of tilt is applied to Y then it becomes black. Third picture is with no modifications to the bezel, only curvature mode 3D-1 (straight MBZ__1__ADV__GDV-MINI-NTSC). I’m on RA 1.21.0, most recently went up to 595.97 for a different game as of 4/2, and only found out about this I believe last week between the 5th and the 11th
I also experience the same issue when setting my games using 'MAME_2010-[STD]-[Guest][CABINET].slangp" which is a tilted screen. It appears all black. I am using Retroarch v1.22.2. Is there a fix for this?
Love your setup could you please share the background image and tell me the exact settings you’re using to achieve that? Also which space invader game is that? Looks nice!
Could you please share the fix with us?
That MAME Cab image comes from Duimon Mega Bezel pack.
The game is Space Invaders Deluxe but with the proper backdrop and color overlay images.
You can find a ready to use arcade pack (with backdrops and everything) on my GitHub featuring graphics made by Soqueroeu.
The only fix I have in the works is for auto flipping via driver detection wildcards for new/updated/missing cores.
I have been recovering from a cardiac arrest recently… waiting for my brain to get back to normal so I am confident in my work. (Surprising what a few minutes without oxygen can do.)
I have a fix sitting in a folder to upload to one of my GitHub repos. (Still need to figure out the best place to put it.) It has been so long since I created it, I want to make sure I have all the needed cores covered.
There are some updates to my Vintage TV repo also that I want to get done.
Rest assured that I still have many things I want to get done here… I am not going anywhere.
I am also confident that at some point HSM will return for some V1 refreshing and make my fixes irrelevant.
Wow… Duimon… hope you are ok. I hate to hear this.
Here’s to a speedy recovery.
Hi @Duimon - I’m so sorry for the danger you went through and your health problems - I hope you get well as soon as possible, a big hug from one of your fans.
Wish you the best, Duimon!
