I use a Raspberry Pi 3 and when I enable menu audio I get horrendous crackling sounds. Any help here?
That’s why it’s not enabled by default 
We’re not altogether sure why it’s super-crackly for some devices, but it is.

I’m using a 4GB rPi4, and it still crackles. It’s in regards to still images; crackles whenever you post wallpaper, or browse through your scans with boxarts and / or screenshots.
I think it’s crackly on all devices to be honest, we never got to fix it and the original author of that feature is no longer here… sadly I lack audio programming skills otherwise I would have looked into it because menu audio is a big thing for Lakka
