Hey, guys!
Is there a way (command-line?) to take screenshots of the menus? I’ve made some icons, backgrounds, custom playlists I’d like to capture/show. I hope taking pictures of my TV isn’t the only way
Thanks in advance!!

Hi everyone,
I’m having the same problem as @felipelisboa and I’m desperately looking for a solution.
I’m writing a tutorial to help a beginners group understand Lakka and I’d like to make use of screenshots of the menus and Lakka interface to show what people should visit and press to get set up.
Does anyone know how I can take screenshots of these?
Best wishes all,
There’s no way to take pics of the menu directly. The best way I know of is to install Lakka in a virtual machine and use the host machine to take screenshots of it.
Thanks for this @hunterk. I ordered a USB-to-USB cable today in the hope I could hook the Pi to a Mac and record the screen via QuickTime like I do with Apple TV. Guessing there’s no chance that’s going to work. Which VM would work best?
Pretty much anything should be fine, I think. Running x86 Lakka in VirtualBox is free and relatively easy.
