Microsoft Xbox One Wireless Adapter

Hi everybody. Microsoft released their wireless USB adapter for Xbox One controllers in the last month or so.

Is there any planned support for this, or have the necessary drivers not been developed yet? I would love to be able to simply switch between the Xbox One and this, thus eliminating the need for dedicated controllers on Lakka.

Thanks,

Paul

It should work fine, as long as it’s acting like a regular xinput device.

We are not using xinput, we’re using udev, in lakka.

I guess that the xbox one controller needs a kernel module. Maybe our kernels are getting old?

Does lakka not have xboxdrv included to support xinput devices?

Not xboxdrv, as it is userspace, but we have the xpad kernel module.

Thanks guys. I just installed the latest version of lakka 64-bit to my PC, but couldn’t get the adapter to connect to the controller (the adapter didn’t even seem to turn on, so hopefully that isn’t some separate issue with the PC I’m using for my lakka setup).

Hopefully someday I’ll be able to consolidate the controllers, but for now I’ll stick to using my PS3 ones.

Thanks again!
