Minimum Hardware to run CRT - Royale Kurozumi @ 4k

Hi all,

I am going to buy a new PC only to run emulators on RetroArch on a 4k Monitor. A want to run everything in 4k with the CRT Royale Shader at maximum quality and maximum speed possible. Does anyone know what is the minimum hardware that i need to buy ? This hardware will be used only for classic emulators with 2D games (wont run nintendo wii, playstaions or modern games)

I am opening this topic because i think this information will be usefull to others.

at least from my tests, hd 5770 hawk/gtx 650 both running smooth as comfy on 4k with kurozumi (.cgp), whether 2d/3d.

Interesting fact for this thread: Now royale-kurozumi it works in slang shading language, too! Lookwise it’s identical to the cg-version, but i think maybe vulkan could shift the performance issue in another direction…
