Hi everyone! I’ll skip the intro and get to the point…So basically I recently installed Lakka on an old PC I had laying around, used on my TV for a while and it worked great but then I decided to use the PC for something else and simply installed RetroArch on my Android instead, I grabbed my Windows 7 CD, entered the boot menu and select my CD but then comes the problem “Missing Operating System” This CD has worked multiple times before, I booted it on my current PC and it booted up just fine (Also tried on my laptop and no problems). Can someone help or explain this issue? Thanks!
So, you installed Lakka and now it’s not seeing your Win7 install CD? If so, that’s certainly strange but shouldn’t have anything to do with Lakka.
Yeah I installed Lakka then tried to revert back to Windows 7 and got the error “Missing Operating System” Is it just a common problem that occurs? I’ve looked online and I can’t find a worked solution.
It sounds like it’s just having issues finding your CD drive. Do linux CDs boot?
Nope! I’ve tried Mint and Ubuntu.
Ok, if linux CDs aren’t working either, it sounds like a hardware issue. Do you have another disc drive you could try?
