So, I made some alterations to one of my playlists, guess I must have made an error b/c when I transfered the playlist over to Lakka and rebooted the pc, all I got was a black screen. I can’t even get into the bios, am I fucked?
Seems I can still get into the filesystem via my other PC through network. Tried deleting the playlist, but nothing changed. Still a black screen.
There’s no way modifying a playlist could affect your ability to boot. Something else must be going on.
Well, if there is something else going on I don’t know what it is, playlists is the only thing I have worked on.
I can’t even get into the bios, so even a format of the drive is out of the question I guess.
Disconnect your Lakka drive. If you still can’t get into your BIOS, you have some sort of hardware issue.

I think you’re right, I have disconnected the harddrive and still the same thing, there is only a black screen. Now that I think about it, there was always a “press F11 to boot into bios” but in the last couple of days it simply went directly to Lakka. Maybe that was an early sign of the hardware dying?
Hm… so I unplugged the harddrive and the power (pressed the power button to get rid of leftover power) and then plugged the powercable back in (without the hdd) and it booted to the bios. So maybe it’s not hardware related after all?
Ok, this is weird, I plugged in the hdd again and now Lakka works and everything seems fine. I’m confused but kinda releaved at the same time.
