This is strange regarding the Gauntlet YouTube video I just uploaded. I have the audio on English and the video has replaced the games audio with an A.I. voice, but there’s another language option you can choose, Russian. If you switch to Russian the audio gets louder and the original voice in the game returns. Anyone ever encounter this before?

What a show!!! Amazing @orionsangel - congratulations! Since I wanted to treat myself to this game for the holidays, forgive my ignorance, but how did you do this???

Thank you! Retroarch can play MP4 videos. You can then add the bezel and shader to the MP4 video. I also made the audio sound more tingy like an arcade game with Audacity. An audio program. I’ve done this before, most recently with my Pac-Man Doodle and San Francisco Rush Bezels. A while back with my Daytona bezel. Daytona runs with audio studder on Retroarch. So I captured footage of Daytona and loaded up the MP4 video on to Retroarch and was then able to add the bezel and shader to the MP4 video and have no audio studder. These are made mostly for fun, but some are made with the hope that in the future games like Daytona will run better on Retroarch.

Forgive my ignorance on the subject and thank you for your time, but I thought you’d somehow managed to run and play Marvel Cosmic Invasion with Mega Bezel and a dedicated bezel. Anyway, I love your videos and follow you on YouTube.

Hey @Orionsangel have you ever considered possibly mixing up some of your new work by rotating out the pac man and donkey kong cabinets on the sides as the template? I have to admit, I did enjoy some of your earlier work before you started doing the MAGA bezel shader specific ones where you did have several versions of different game cabinets on the sides. I fully understand you probably have a nice boiler plate template by now when you do a new game and it probably fits nice into your current standard. Just figured I see if you ever did consider it either way to add some variety when different games are loaded up. By no means am I complaining about the current one. It’s fantastic. Just something that came to mind today.

I’m glad you brought this up. I’ve wanted to change them out for years. Mostly because I don’t want to use well known licensed games, especially ones from big game developers. I think a good path is maybe using A.I. to create generic side cabinets? I attempted A.I. a while back, but did not get good results as you can see, but A.I. keeps advancing and it really depends on your prompt for the A.I. to understand exactly what you want. Then again, not use A.I. and have someone make them with photoshop or I make it? Then there’s the whole task of replacing all the side cabs with the new ones. That would be a huge unndertaking. I don’t have that much free time. But yeah, this notion has definitely been on my mind for a while now.
