Need Help! Flower Screen Everytime I Run and Close A Game

As the title says, Everytime I run a game and close a game is stuck a while on a flower logo.

How can I get rid of this flower logo with a black background.

I am running Lakka on a super old system and my roms are on a 8gb usb 2.0. I still can’t figure it out how to add games on the hard drive yet. This was my first day of using lakka.

My PC Specs: Intel Pentium Dual Core E Series 2.0ghz 2GB 800mhz DDR2 RAM NVidia GT210 1GB 64bit GDDR3 160GB SATA Hard Drive 8GB USB 2.0 for ROM Storage

Hi,

Please try to provide some log at least Lakka system log, also did you use Lakka 2.1 rc6 ?

Thank you.

Thats normal @choy1026 its just retroarch hiding console from you with lakka flower screen

I’m still new with lakka, just found out about it a day ago. I dont know how to collect logs. Where can I find it? Thanks!

Im using the Lakka 2.0 64bit version

I saw lots of videos on youtube and they actually run every game without that lakka flower on screen. It just goes directly on the game and they have a more older systems than mine How do they do that then if thats normal?

My educated guess is that the problem comes from reading your ROMs off the USB drive and onto the hard drive. Check out the Lakka docs for how to do this.

I’ll put the ROM on the hard drive then. Thanks! But wait, already tried it but I just cant find my lakka on the network. Enabled Samba and SSH on Lakka, enabled Samba support on my router too.

Is your Lakka system able to access the internet over your network? One way to check would be to download a thumbnail pack or something else the Lakka online updater has access to.

If it is, then you can try the procedure in the docs to determine the direct IP address for Lakka and try to use Samba with the IP address.

I don’t think so… But it says it is connected on a “wired” network on the WiFi tab. I really don’t know what it is called. I hope you understand it though. I tried to download thumbnails too but I can’t find it when I browse the games. It just do nothing when I click update thumbnails.

Need to add this too. Then lan port leds where I connected lakka is blinking.

Until you provide logs, you’re probably not going to get anywhere. Telling us your description doesn’t provide enough information for us to solve the problem.

If you want to know how to generate a log to have us help you: http://www.lakka.tv/doc/Troubleshooting-Lakka/
