NES no-intro: no working roms

I have the latest NES no-intro romset, I checked it with Romcenter and the latest dat “Nintendo - Nintendo Entertainment System (20161023-174046_CM).dat”

Roms are recognized and Lakka creates a good playlist but when I try to launch a rom I got back to the main Lakka screen.

I see from this page https://github.com/libretro/Lakka/wiki/BIOSes that NES doesn’t require a BIOS file (except for Famicom Disk System), so why Lakka can’t start emulation of every NES game? How and where can I see am error log file?

I’m using a fresh install of the latest Lakka distro for PC -> Lakka-Generic.x86_64-devel-20161002103858-r21593-g03241bf.img.gz

You shouldn’t have to do this, but try going to settings > playlist and assign a core to the playlist manually.

It’s already setted to Nestopia US but nothing

Ok, most likely those are ROMs without headers, which are needed for emulation. If that’s the case, you’ll need to find a set that includes the headers. If I were you, I’d try getting a random ROM off the internets and see if that works first, though, just to rule out any other issues.

You’re right, I tried a romset with headers and infact they run, thank you very much!
