No sound - Speakers

Installed the latest image of Lakka (Generic 86_64), everything seems to run fine (loaded some SNES and Genesis roms). No sound though. Granted it’s an old motherboard, but the sound worked when I had another distro installed.

When I tried cycling through all audio devices from the menu, nothing plays. I’m not sure how to advance, any suggestions?

Did you try restarting after each audio device selection? I have noticed that it won’t work/register often when you choose a new audio device until you restart.

I’ve gone through all inputs, selecting them and rebooting the entire machine each time. Still no luck :frowning:

You should be able to change audio from the gui.

If you want HDMI output please modify the configuration file after stopping RetroArch with

audio_device="hdmi:CARD=HDMI,DEV=0"

If you want from the audio card

audio_device="default:CARD=CK804"

Thank you.

Hi there! I’ve tried both console assignment of that audio card ck804, and gui. Still no sound… :frowning:

Please provide lakka system logs.

Thank you.

Gave up and bought a USB sound chip (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IRVQ0F8?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_t2) works fine.
