Not Detecting FBA or MAME Romsq

Hello, I have added some FBA roms from the suggested version as well as some mame roms and neither are detected when I scan the folders. All other rom detection has worked fine for other system.

Newest Lakka-RPi2.arm-devel-20160503155601-r21429-g9e4f0ee.img.gz on a Pi3

I am having a similar issue. The only game I have gotten to work is dkong. I have tried others and checked them to the .DAT file provided in the ROMS and BIOS documentation.

Is there some way to see why the scan is failing? Or perhaps is there a way to bypass the scan to create the playlist?

This is actually a pretty old Lakka image in relation to the work on the playlist generator database. This is the name of the newest image I see in the nightly folder: Lakka-RPi2.arm-devel-20160807205317-r21557-gd292da5.img.gz

Here is a link to that folder: http://sources.lakka.tv/nightly/RPi2.arm/

I didn’t realize that the OP in this thread was a couple of months older than your message. Apologies!

Could I suggest that you pop over to the MAME 2003 playlist thread? http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5923

I’m looking forward to a day when the playlist thread is not needed, but for now this may be what you’re looking for.

Thanks! That was exactly what I needed. I wonder why the normal scan is not working, could it not be checking the ROMS against the FBA .DAT?

I have started an issue to describe this scenario and request additions to the FBA database: https://github.com/libretro/libretro-database/issues/248

Please feel welcome to join in that new thread!
