Not enough power when connecting two controllers (RPI2)

Hi all,

I recently tried connecting a ps3 wired controller next to my existing logitech rumblepad. When I do this in the top right corner the colored box apears so I assume there is not enough power in the RPI2. Do you guys have the same issue with a standard 10 w usb power supply (brand is apple). Should I connect a powered usb switch to get this going?

try a different USB cable to wire it - I am having the same issues and seems to work with non-genuine PS3 Mini usb connector cables.

Try a different power supply. You need 5v 2a. I had so many problems with my Pi project until I got a decent power supply :slight_smile:
