Hello,
I’m new to these forums so sorry in advance if I’ve done anything wrong with this post…
I’m new to all the things required to run this on my XU4. I’ve downloaded current AND a couple nightlies, but the end result is the same. Lakka is perpetually stuck on splash screen! This makes me sad because I really want to use this. I’ve lately been wondering what I’m doing wrong or if it’s the SD card (PATRIOT 32GB HC U3 class 10), but I’ve gotten HKs linux kernel to work, so maybe not…? the first time I flashed the stable build it gave me this error:
cp: read error: Input/output error *** Error in prepare_sysroot: mount_common: Could not mount /dev/SYSTEM ***
Starting debugging shell… type exit to quit
sh: can’t access tty; job control turned off
I tried flashing nightlies and they either don’t give me a splash screen, just darkness, or they don’t give me the above error. The nightlies give me no errors actually. EDIT: After running for a while the nightlies with splash do give the same error! I did notice that every other image I flash of other OSs gave my SD card a name/title er whatever, Lakka did not. Could that be the problem? If so what should I name it?
Any help is much appreciated!
EDIT#2: I have confirmed after getting a hold of another SD card that it WAS my SD card! My girlfriends SD card for her phone is XC I, I have HC I… Why would this make a difference?? Can it be fixed??
