Pi 3 + Lakka + Netplay = Netplay Host?

I am trying to figure out if I have a user error or not.

Maybe the issue is that I am using a test version of lakka(2.1) - I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it so I will try here first before I raise an issue…

I have two machines at home running retroarch.

1 x windows PC running retroarch 1.50 1 x pi 3 running lakka 2.1 / Retroarch 1.50. Both machines use the same version FBA core and the same roms.

When I host a netplay room from my PC, my Pi has no issues connecting to the room and besides the odd in game sync issue my fba games run fine.

When I host a room with the Pi I can see the room from the PC but when I try join that room I see a “disconnected” prompt on my PC. The weird thing is that there are no prompts at all that show up on my Pi(it doesnt show any connection attempts or disconnection prompts etc).

As for the network settings. Both devices have all the options switched to off position, well apart from the “Publicly Announce Netplay”. I have forwarded the port(both devices use the same number port - UDP for windows & TCP for Pi).

So basically the main thing I need to know is whether anyone here hosted a netplay room running FBA from their Pi and had someone else successfully join their room.

Never mind, looks like it was a network error on my part. Fired up the Pi and hosted a game against my PC yesterday… Looks like I cant swap between hosting and being a client(unless I restart router?)
