I was looking through these shaders and noticed that just about every kind of tv hookup is covered … Black & White, Composite, S-Video, RGB-SCART, Component…

But one is missing!

The RF-Signal! Is that something that you’re maybe working on? lol I’m not even sure if it’s possible given the ‘static’ nature of it haha.

Vintage TV shader have RF quality

Man, your work is amazing!

Now this is how I remember the good old days.

Im just modifing Vintage Tv shader… hard work in on solid12345 side

Mind posting a screenshot of that last one? I’m not able to test this out right now and would die to so see how it looks.

Wait, are we supposed to use all this code for something? I’ve been waiting for a new download lol.

It’s quite easy really, just take the code and save it as a .cgp file to whatever name you want in Notepad. Then you have to make sure that the paths in the code is correct for the corresponding shaders being used in that said .cgp file.

Then you’re pretty much set.

If you’re referring to post #103 - Vintage TV shader have RF quality which I was referring to then no there isn’t any screenshot there, and if there is then nothing is loading. The only screenshot on this page is post #101 with Conker.

His screenshots aren’t loading inline for me, but if you right-click on the broken-image icon and choose ‘open in new tab,’ it should show. Here’s a direct link: http://postimg.org/image/q94790fn3/

I’ll see if it loads when I do it: EDIT: nope!

Strange… i can see them just fine… maybe i gonna embed them differently next time… or maybe just change hosting

I think there was only one of those posts where I didn’t see an image. I kept wondering why you were posting pictures of Conker haha.

This looks really nice. I’m new in retroarch, and really like it. The one thing that got me is the border shader of a TV. Is something like this one you are showing, but with a border of a tv. Pity i can’t make it work right. Always loose some of my screen. I’ll try this one. Thanx for sharing!

This is probably more balance settings that are very close to what i saw comparing to direct capture (with s-video) on YT

Im putting here link to Conker, cuz that i was been using on this forum but i did compare it more to Mario Party like here

Sorry to bust in here talking about another emulator, but I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to get these wonderful-looking shaders to work in OpenEmu. When dragged into the /shaders folder, the shaders show up as selectable options while playing roms, but unfortunately create a black screen (while the sound, and presumably the roms themselves continue to run). Any idea what might be going wrong, or thoughts about how I can make these work? Thank you for any advice you can give me, and for the wonderful shaders pack.

maybe directory path is wrong (inside shaders files)?

Perhaps that’s it, I’ll have to check later today. Should I check the directories (I’m assuming the file paths to the .cg files) inside the .cgp file?

I’m wondering if it’s some kind of complication with .cgp files in general using OpenEmu, but I hope not.

Is there any particular reason that these would load perfectly using my Video Card, but when I switch to onboard graphics, they fail to load? Other shaders load, and cause significant slowdown lol, but these just don’t load at all with that setup.
