There no issue with keyboard and games are sna files its just a few games like the ones mentioned run very slow after updating fuse.

Fist of all, as it is my first contribution … THANKS A LOT EVERYONE for such a hard work, and make us enjoy our classics !

I have started using PCSX ReArmed quite a lot, here goes what I have :

> Vagrant Story : works ; > Resident Evil - Director’s Cut : boots and play normally for first hour of gameplay. > Diablo : Does not have enough ‘juice’ to power it enough for a smooth gameplay.

Got many more to try… Xenogears, Chrono Cross, …

And now for my main concern : Legend of Mana.

The game starts smoothly with the same configuration as other games. But for this, no controls work whatsoever. I have tried for quite some time to apply overlays and stuff to fix this, nothing helped…

Amazing thing is : When I do not give the core access to the BIOS, upon launch, the controls are working just fine ! But the game crashing most after 5-10 minutes of Gameplay, precisely after positioning the Mailbox and trying to skip the cut-scene.

Version 3.60 Build ‘2016-10-21_RetroArch’ PCSX ReArmed APK (Not RetroArch) Bios SCPH1001.BIN.

Don’t know if I am forgetting something… My guess is that the game is working only with Dual Shock PS1 controller, and maybe there’s a glitch here in using this bios. I have also tried SCPH101.BIN and SCPH7502.BIN, no luck…

I didnt say there was an issue with keyboard. I said that it would be good to assign a keyboard key to a vita button.

The way it works is you have up,down,left,right,space ,enter and fire only and assigned to buttons which is limiting.

changing the format to ps vita button to keyboard gives more flexibilty. Other emu’s do this.

So say x button can select any keyboard button.

I played around with DosBox, and managed to load several games. For the sake of simplicity I downloaded Oregon Trail, and mapped retropad buttons to numbers, start and select to enter and escape. The game loads with no problem, showing the splashscreen and then the title screen where i’m prompted to enter numbers. No success though, no matter how i configure or remap my controls.

Did anyone manage to get ANY input going in dosbox?

press the select button for the keyboard

I could do that but its a pain to play like that. Especially when playing something like AticAtac as you would lose life pretty quickly.

All other spectrum emulators allow for a keyboard button to be assigned to a controller button.

I guess for the guys doing retroarch its a simple add on.

Was my post not in the right place, or worst, useless ? Just wondering, in case it means something to carry on posting stuff like that or if you don’t use it. Just wanna help :stuck_out_tongue:

I need to fund a version of fuse from the start of the month when it worked fine on commando and 180

I guess we are going backwards to go forwards. Have a few crashes on PSX also. Not sure what is being added to make these things go wrong but if it’s the new PSX core then should be wortth the hassle.

Right iv now got fuse running with no issues by removing retro arch install file and installing from fresh files .can’t get the settings to save so I have to set it every time

Is it possible to use cheats on PCSX ReArmed?

Yes download the cheat database on retroarch menu. And after it you can use it. You can input your proper line cheat in the menu. I expect help you

Thanks, but after downloading the cheats.zip from the menu, it didn’t download the ones for PlayStation. As a workaround, after seeing the folder/file structure of the cheats, downloaded the .cht that I was looking for from the libretto Git.

Hi all, it’s the frame throttle working for pcsx? I’ve tried to set the hot keys for fast forward and throttle to 10x,but it didn’t change the frame rate of the game

Hello all. Is the fast forward option working for pcsx? I’ve tried setting the throttle to 10x and selecting a hotkey for the fast forward toggle. I don’t really see a change in frame rate when I play my game
