Ps1 and n64 emulator not showing up on lakka

Hi. I just started using lakka on my raspberry pi because I was going to a LAN party with my friends and I thought it would be fun to emulate some old games there, but when I started lakka I realised that neither the ps1 emulator nor the n64 emulator wasn’t there. I knew that they had mentioned the ps1 emulator on the FAQ and I had seen both the n64 one and ps1 on many pictures/videos. I also know that retroarch supports both of them. What should i do.

please reply so i know what to do even if they aren’t supported by lakka. If so i will probably consider changing to retropie.

thank you in advance!

Hello testapan, the RPi 1 is too weak to run those cores at playable speed. So I removed them from the build, to make it lighter.

RetroPie support those two systems, because they use non libretro versions of those emulators, or completely different versions, optimized for the RPi1.

So you should consider either buying a RPi2, or giving a try to RetroPie.

ok thanks for replying. i knew that i wouldn’t be able to play the 3d games, but i was thinking of playing things like megaman x4. i know that lakka has a much better MAME so i’ll pribably keep using it. thanks again.
