before begining, I’m using lakka on a nes mod computer, no raspi or other. My problem is that I’v put correctly the required bios scph5000,… on the system folder. Theses are recognised by lakka on the core information, but when I’m launching a game, nothing appear exepted a black screen.
I’v try lot of things like changing bios by other, … Nothing’s working…

If they’re being recognized, BIOS isn’t the problem. If you’re using the mednafen-psx core, it only works with bin/cue and you need to load the cue sheet rather than the bin.

That’s what I’ve done. About the different bios, I can’t find the scph5001.bin, so I’v put an other one and rename it, I’ve learn that should be works normaly. Even if normaly It should works even with one bios. I’ve put the 3 required bios.
Hmm. I think we’ll need a log to know anything else. I’m not sure how best to get one from Lakka, though. In general, launching like this will give you a log file: retroarch --menu --verbose >> log.txt 2>&1

I cant go in TTY while getting just a black screen without anything else to … No way to write something When there is no BIOS, it makes the same things, with some games, a black screen, and other going back to lakka menu. In fact, When I’m launching a game, on the screen just appear that the paddle is recognized and configured, and that’s all. With all the other emu it works well.
Have you tried any NTSC PSX ROMs? I believe PAL may choke up that core.
Renaming bioses won’t work, you need to find the right bioses, with the right names, and the right checksums.
Is there a table somewhere with the correct checksums for all BIOSes?
i googled “psx bios” and the #1 search result will get you what u need…you’ll have to rename sch**1001 to 5001 i think…whatever lakka requires.
@cudencuden this can work for USA games, but if you want to play PAL games or japanese ones, make sure to check the sums.
