PSx ProblemS and more

So I have been using Lakka on a pc I built from spare parts for some time now(over a year). Recently I went to update and the hard drive I was using was to small. I acquired a much bigger hard drive and cloned it, updated successfully. The new system is wonderful but I am having several issues.

The Bios I have working on the original hard drive for PSX will not load in updated Lakka. Same .bins, same .cues, same bios. It goes to load and then returns to XMB after a moment. Just a blank screen. I tried redownloading the bios from several sites, I even downloaded the Japanese and Europeanian versions. No avail.

Second on my list is just an annoyance. My SnES roms will not add to play list other than two of them. I can use them in the history, am I going to have to manually build the list? Using both .smc and .sfc

Third. If I plug in 2 wired Xbox 360 controllers the only way I can get them to work is to configure the 2nd only after loading a game and plugging in then. If I do it inside the GUI it breaks the functions of the first controller. Is this just an issue of conflicts that I need to keep doing this work around on?

  1. we’ll need a lot to know what’s going wrong.

  2. scanning only supports no-intro sets, so that means only 2 of your ROMs match their hashes.

  3. I think kivutar recently backported some patches to the xboxdrv driver that handles 360 controllers, so you may have better luck with the next release.

I’ve had a very similar problem with ppsspp. After an update it would not load any games and crash, even previous games that I knew worked. In my case I assumed it was a bug and waited for another update. Updated again and it was fixed.
