PSX: Rerturning to Menu After Logo Screen, Every Game

Hello, I am testing this on a few different PC’s and on each machine I am having the same experience with PSX games. They all boot to the Sony Logo, and then return to the Lakka menu.

I have all three BIOS files in the system folder and they are named as they should be, though BIOS file 5501 was not available so I renamed 1001 to 5501’s title instead, as per this link:

I have heard that there is a setting where I can disable the BIOS, but I can not find where this is done at.

Thank you in advance, great work thus far!

Hi,

I was wondering if you had gotten this issue resolved. I have found the right BIOS with the right checksum and still no luck. Thanks in advance!

Be sure to have the 3 bioses, with the right names, and the right checksums. You need all 3, not just one.

Note: I do not know whether you will understand me because I am sweating google translator.

Next, I had the same problem and managed to solve. What happens is that some of my games in the .cue file was the description of the game and the extension was like “BIN”. The problem is that Linux is case-sensitive, so the description must be correct in the case have to change to “BIN” to “.bin” within the .cue file.

The psx emulator can also run some eboots ps1>psp conversions which is useful as the files are smaller than the usual .bin
