Raspberry Pi 3B and PCSX ReARMed poor performance with game Driver

Hello forum,

I tried a few versions of Lakka-RPi2 (stable 2.1, 2.1 rc6, stable 2.0) and I cannot get acceptable performance on PCSX ReARMed core on some games (Driver for example).

Games look choppy but FPS counter stays around 60.

After a fresh install, it seems like all parameters are optimized for performance (dynamic recompiler on, enhanced resolution off, no shaders, no filtering) and I tried different settings (threaded video on/off, Vsync on/off)

I tried lowering Pi resolution, and the bios/roms files are md5 checked.

Thank you for your help. I only hope for someone to point me in the right direction, maybe I missed something.

I checked thoroughly the forum before posting and found a similar question but it seemed the author was using a nightly core from buildbot which I am not.

EDIT: modified post to keep it short

I post this answer in case somebody has the same problem.

It seems to be game related. I tried the same game on the Windows version of Lakka and the result is identical, Driver is choppy, despite the machine being much more powerful than a Pi.

I guess as always with emulators, some games work better than others. I rechecked how RetroPie performs and it is the same as well, if anyone wonders.

Sorry for this otherwise useless topic.
