RetroArch Wii/Gamecube Releases (v1.0.0.2)

Yes it still works.

Although its only working from slot B in my case - SD Media Launcher / Neo.dol slot A - lresort.zip slot B.

Have you tried NeoCD Redux for GameCube alot of games are supported.

Question: before I try, is RetroArch Wii handling PC-Engine ISOs well? What format should I use? .BIN + .CUE? .ISO?

Thanks, fellas! C.

Yes, mine are all in BIN + CUE format and they work fine.

Well, I just completed Yoshiā€™s Island on the SNES 9X NEXT core and it played absolutely perfectly! The only slowdown was on the end credits with all that Mode 7 and Super FX chips stuff going on, bravo to the RetroArch team, the game compatibility is superb. Keep up the good work!

Uhm, I also use the SDML method but I launch it but I have the Neo.dol in slot A and the roms in slot B, so I have now to try your way. About Neo-redux I still use it to play some games but as you know it still have the sound issue in several games, the size of the games, the fact of changing the name to all of the music tracks, the fact of that not every Neo-Geo game has a Neo-CD port, etc., makes me try to play Neo-Geo games through RA.

You should probably buy a second hand Wii and hack it for emulators, at least you would have more compatibility then.

Iā€™m getting a stack dump when trying to run neo geo games (neogeo.zip in system, games formatted according to indicated fba version in changelog)

cps-1 and 2 seems to run fine however.

neogeo.zip should be in the same folder as the rom.

does the Wii version support DScore ?

Check the first post.

I get the same error when trying to load a PCE CD iso. :frowning:

I tried just one PCE ISO and got an error too. I tried RAYXANBER 3, BIN+CUE!

Works for me. Make sure syscard3.pce is placed in sd:/retroarch/system folder.

MEA CULPA! Hwa ha ha ha! I completely forgot about this!

Thanks, Charco! C.

No problem. Rayxanber III is fucking hard though, or maybe itā€™s just that I am terrible at shoot 'em ups!

hey guys, is there some special way to get ā€œthe irritating mazeā€ to work for neo-geo??? its only 5mb so i dont think its too large for the wii to handleā€¦ is this a known issue or am i doing something wrong.

Itā€™s a known issue, that game doesnā€™t work.

Devolution just updated that allows ds3 controllers to be used via Bluetooth. This feature would be nice on retroarch if you devs are interested

Thatā€™s cool.

Source code or bust.
