Hopefully the random crashing gets fixed When using the HBC, sometimes RA 1.0.0 doesn nothing bu show a blank screen and receives no input from the Wii remove (LEDs go out, force-reboot needed), Only seems to happen in vWi (made a bug report thread about that but so far nothingās been postedā¦)i. Do you know what features will be improved/included? =D
Nope, just saw a tweet saying next day or two to roll out the release for all platforms. There is some info on current Wii builds here:
Nice, does that affect the Classic Controller at all, cause thatās what I use on Snes9x?
I donāt think so, I use the CC too anyway.
Hello, i have test the 1.0.0.2 on my wii black and i have that problem:
KeyBindings on rgui: i canāt use the right analog on GC controller, i have turn off the AUTOCONF i have choice the LEFT analog DPAD options or i have try to bind directly the DPAD with LEFT ANALOG, but without any reason i can bind all keys from gc controller but not the LEFT analog. The TRIGGERS + UP left analog + UP right analog for comeback to RGUI not work at all. With WIIMOTE + NUNCHUCK i can only BIND the LEFT ANALOG (nunchack analog), but i canāt keybind any other control. (the autoconfig for wiimote+nunchack isnāt good for neogeo games, because the 3 & 4 botton is with 1 & 2 of wiimote (instead of Z & B), z & b are autoconf to 5 & 6 botton (like cps1). I have open manuallly the CFG file but i havenāt understand how to change manually for keybind my configuration
Hello. First of all, thank you for your amazing work.
Does it emulate GBA games at full speed on the GC?
Noob Suggestion : is it possible to port GPSP(kai) to this release? I was ported to the ps2 with good results http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/preview ā¦ ost1094609 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4bAh3WgslY
can someone do me a favor and test āprogearā on the 1.0.0.2 FBA core? I cant seem to get it to work (it used to)
Iāve just tested: Progear on the 1.0.0.2 works perfectly for me. Whatās exactly the issue you have (Black screen? No launch? Etc.)? Assuming that youāve already checked that you did select the right core (CPS2 core).
You apparently misunderstood. The FBA core is what I have been using to load Progear, which had worked fine. But the newest FBA core fails when trying to load progear. Iām aware you can use the cps2 core to load it, but that is besides the point.

Sorry, Iāve misunderstood. Iāve just tested with the FBA core, doesnāt work indeed.

Ah, ok. Thank you for testing.
Hello all, Iād like to ask the developers if there are any chances of seeing hiscore saving in the future. Thanks
Not likely. It would require knowing the memory location of the score on a game-by-game basis.
ā¦not even trying with the hiscore.dat that MAME uses? Maybe that is the information needed (I really donāt have a clue in this matter)
Well after several weeks I downloaded v1.0.0.2 for gamecube and tested some problematic cores, here my findings: -fba alpha core: Invalid .dol file message because the file too big, so I could not test this core. -fba cps1 core: Now all cps1 roms load, though cawing.zip freezes in 1st stage and forgottn.zip do not let you start the game, but surely it could be solved with some rom patch or anything. Excellent work. -fba cps2 core: Compatibility list increased respect previous releases. Now I can also play csclub.zip, megaman2.zip, mmancp2u.zip and sfa.zip, is not a large selection but that aims you are working in the correct way. -fba neo core: No compatibility updates but the fact that now I can use the unibios is a good plus. -mednafen pce fast core: I cannot use the six button controller to play Street Fighter CE and cannot load some roms like Air Zonk and Aero Blasters, but at least I still can play super cd games. -mednafen ngp core: Still cannot play the games because when I push start it does not recognize it. -nx engine core: Loads but when I try to use my save file form previous versions the game behaves strange. -prboom anr tyrquake cores: I cannot make them to work yet. Maybe in future versions when some documentation about how to configure them is included I will have some luck. -snes9x next core:All the roms I tested worked, but with grafical corruption on left-down side of the screen. -vba next core: Like in previous releases, I could not play a single GB game, but at least gambatte let me play GBC games.
In general I could see a noticeable improvement respect older versions, and now that I saw here comes a new release I cannot wait to put my hands on it. Again thank you for your effots to share this great emu with us.
I havenāt been keeping up to date with recent builds but I see that Squarepusher said back in March that he was releasing a fix for the Wii version to fix resolution saving for each core. Has this been implemented and if so, will it be included in 1.0.0.3 when itās released next week?
The last time I checked no such thing was added.
Just wishful thinking but these are the features Iād like to see in the next release: -NGP core with working input. -Wiimote remapping. -Load more than one CD in pce_fast(loading another CD requires a ārestart RAā) -Add 608x480 screen resolution; this is for handheld cores that use square pixels. -Specify video encoder width (aka viWidth) in the config.
Cheat support would be cool too. Not sure why the MAME core was never added to the Wii release, more cores and more games is the most important thing to me.
The core itself is 90Mb
The core itself is 90Mb[/quote]
lol I guess thatās that then!
There had been talk of splitting it into different cores for different arcade boards though.
